Arab Weather - The Ministry of Water and Irrigation/Jordan Valley Authority said on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, that the recent low-pressure system and the accompanying rainfall during the past hours have supplied most of the dams with additional quantities of water in most regions of the Kingdom, as (6) dams have been filled to their full storage capacity, namely Wadi Karak Dam/Karak with a capacity of (2) million cubic meters, Al-Lajoun Dam/Karak with a capacity of one million cubic meters, Shidham Dam/Tafila with a capacity of (750) thousand cubic meters, Al-Mujib Dam/Karak with a capacity of (25) million cubic meters, Wadi Shuaib Dam/Balqa with a capacity of (1.5) million cubic meters, and Ibn Hammad Dam/Karak with a capacity of (4) million cubic meters.

The ministry indicated that the other dams received good amounts of water flows, especially since the rainy season reached, until this morning, 41.7% of the long-term annual average rainfall in the Kingdom, which is (8,196) billion m3 annually, and constitutes 94.5% of the total rainfall for the past season.
